Fourth Update on the Winter 2024 Forecast-Conference
EUROCONSTRUCT and CRESME are looking forward to present further insights from the afternoon’s special theme and networking opportunities at the 98th EUROCONSTRUCT Construction Market Forecast Conference in Milan, Italy on 2-3 December 2024.
Special topic at the 98th EUROCONSTRUCT-Conference
The focus of the EUROCONSTRUCT’s special theme will be on project quality issues within the public works sector, in anticipation of the expected update to EU Directive 2014/24.
The conference will feature experts from the public works sector in 12 European countries (Italy, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Croatia, Slovakia, Latvia, Malta), who will compare current situations and approaches from different states in terms of project quality, procurement methods, award criteria, and the measurement of quality in processes and works. Most importantly, the conference will address the expectations regarding the innovation anticipated with the updated directive.
The conference will also offer a comparison between the world of research and economic analysis, represented by EUROCONSTRUCT, and the design sector, represented by the Council of European Architects and the National Council of Architects of Italy, who are co-organising the event, alongside the presence of the Presidency of the Federation of European Construction Enterprises.
Additionally, an experimental analysis will be presented on the downstream effects of public building designs awarded through design competitions, integrated procurement, or other methods, aimed at assessing the best performance in terms of litigation, execution time, cost compliance, and user satisfaction.
Based on agreements with CNAPPC and CAE, the afternoon session may be attended free of charge, subject to prior registration.
