2 EUROCONSTRUCT Conferences

EUROCONSTRUCT conferences bring leading economists and analysts - which are specialised on the construction market - together. Our platform provides building and construction related business experts with an sound understanding of the key trends which are driving the construction markets in Europe.

The conference is usually divided into two parts. The first part (half a day) is used for presenting the latest EUROCONSTRUCT forecasts of the main European construction markets (residential, non-residential market and civil engineering). At the end of the first part a summary about the overall European construction market will be given.

The second part is dealing with recent problems of the construction markets. This part will be presented by top financial analysts and construction experts from all over Europe (including Central Eastern Europe). Past speakers were for instance from:

- Leading contractors and building material producers,
- International financial institutions,
- Research and Consulting companies,
- EU-Committee, European Investment Bank,
and the European Bank for Recovery and Development.
o Strategy. The European construction market is in a state of flux. Especially Central Eastern Europe is a rapidly changing construction market of more than 350 million inhabitants. The conferences will focus on the emerging opportunities in Europe. Facts, construction environment, experiences and trends will be presented by top European experts.

o Documentation. European and country-by-country forecasting. All delegates will receive a comprehensive documentation of the conference proceedings: the EUROCONSTRUCT Summary Report.
This summary is much more than the conference documentation. It is a comprehensive book which contains all important figures of EUROCONSTRUCT's participating countries. It summarizes macroeconomic and construction developments with detailed data on the three main construction sectors: residential construction, non-residential construction and civil engineering.

Delegates will be able to purchase separately the Country Report - a book containing in depth analysis of the economic and construction development for each of the 19 member countries of EUROCONSTRUCT.

o Resources and contacts. The conference offers an exclusive opportunity at a special pre-conference evening event where top analysts in the construction industry, financial and construction experts, representatives of international banks, leading contractors and building material producers from all over Europe can be met.
EUROCONSTRUCT conferences provide one of the most detailed construction analysis in Europe. Our forecasts are derived by more than 60 construction relevant indicators which are published for each country in the so called Country Report. The most relevant trends and indicators are presented at the conference. Considering a data-stock of about 10,000 figures on the European construction market each conference (twice a year), EUROCONSTRUCT gained an impressive knowledge since the foundation in 1975.
EUROCONSTRUCT conferences take place twice a year. Usually the summer conference is around June and the second (winter) conference around December. The conferences are organised by our members and so they always take place in a different country.
Conference language is depending on venue. Due to the international orientation of this conference it is mainly English. Additional simultaneous translation in German and French is usually provided.

3 EUROCONSTRUCT Products and Services

EUROCONSTRUCT is a lively network and we try to improve our data continuously. Our EUROCONSTRUCT conferences help us to go on with the research work. The latest forecasts are presented to a larger audience at our events.

The EUROCONSTRUCT network also publishes two reports on the current state of the European construction industry and its prospects in the short and medium term:
the EUROCONSTRUCT Country Report and the EUROCONSTRUCT Summary Report.

These reports are presented at our EUROCONSTRUCT-Conferences for the first time and they can be purchased from your local EUROCONSTRUCT partner in your country.
The EC Country Report contains construction market forecasts and detailed underlying information on the national level of the 19 EC countries. The report also covers the overall economic development along with the main influencing factors (like new policies) within the three main construction sectors: residential construction, non-residential construction and civil engineering. It is the most powerful tool for strategic planning with more than 8000 construction related figures put together by the EC network.

The EC Summary Report shows the overall European construction trends covery by our network. Instead of the "country-by-country" analysis (see above) broader European trends within the main three construction sectors (residential and non-residential construction, civil engineering) and the whole construction market are derived. Additionally it is including summary tables of the most important indicators.
Following countries are covered by our regularly reports:
