Join us for the Winter 2024 EC-Conference: First speakers revealed!
The 98th EUROCONSTRUCT-Conference will take place in Milan, Italy on 2 & 3 December 2024. The event will be hosted by the CRESME, which represents EUROCONSTRUCT in Italy.
At the upcoming EUROCONSTRUCT event, the morning session will focus on updating the “Construction Market Forecasts to 2027”. The special theme of the conference is “From the quality of public procurement to the quality of construction in Europe”, which will be the main part of the afternoon session.

Senior Researcher

Antonella is a Senior Researcher at CRESME Ricerche (Economic and Social Studies Research Centre on the Construction Market and Territorial Planning) established in 1962 to promote and disseminate information on construction activity and territorial transformations.
Her role is focused on designing, directing, coordinating, and implementing numerous research projects, studies, and reports, as well as creating periodic newsletters.

Annette Hughes
Director
EY Economic Advisory Services, Ireland
Annette is the Director of Economic Advisory Services.
In her prior position as Director at DKM Economic Consultants, Annette worked on energy, construction and transport projects. Her involvement in most of DKM’s studies of national and regional housing markets for clients, including financial institutions and house-building companies, brought about a significant change in the industry.

Lorenzo Rodriguez-Fernandez
Economist
Experian, United Kingdom
Lorenzo Rodriguez-Fernandez is an economist at Experian, the UK representative of Euroconstruct. He holds a master’s degree in Economics from the Nottingham Business School, and he leads his team’s construction and housing analyses.

Stefanie Siegrist
Economist
ETH Zurich – KOF, Switzerland
Stefanie is a researcher in Economics working at KOF Swiss Economic Institute of ETH Zurich. Besides her involvement with the long-standing KOF firm surveys, she monitors the Swiss construction sector closely. As part of KOF’s forecasting group, Stefanie conducts in-depth analysis of the Swiss construction market and regularly forecasts construction investments for the next few quarters. Besides macro-level forecasting, she builds upon her profound knowledge of the construction economy on the micro-level, which is vital for this relatively small sector characterized by many peculiarities.
